How should it sound?
02/12/15 at 16:35:52

Good evening.  Battery now charged, thanks.  I just rode it around a second time and now realize I have no way of knowing what this bike 'should' sound like.  Never heard another one.  All the ones on youtube have loud aftermarket exhaust.

And reading here, you've got me all paranoid about the cam chain being loose even if the odometer says 1800 miles.  So now I'm even anxious about just going for a cruise because I can't tell if it sounds right.

Anyone in north Houston riding I could hook up with to hear if I have  problems or not.?

Links to proper sounding one?  A 'sound' diagnostic site?

thanks again. Smiley

Bikes always sound different in person than through a speaker...
Your camchain is fine at 1800 miles...

Ride a few thousand miles and get used to what sounds it makes... then, you can start worrying if those sounds change...
... but,.. I'm sure it's fine now...

Keep oil in it,... and don't lower the idle speed to "stupid low, and barely running"...

Hmmm, North Houston, kinda like the Aldine district?
I know a guy in Katy who has 2Savages, good mechanic, nice guy, maybe you can get with him when it's time to actually Do something to it. For now, ride, take a safety course, stay alive. Hopefully, by the time it's time to actually Work on it you'll have been exposed to enough information that you can do it without having someone else standing with you.
