I never thought I would see gas prices ever drop below $3 or $4 again in my life but today I payed $1.75 a gallon and was told that it is going to still drop considerably. Just curious what you are paying and where? Usually Oregon has one of the highest gas prices in the nation. I feel like I should run out and fill every empty container I can find. Pretty nice to fill your 650 tank on less than $4 where last year it took $9 and over.

Not sure what is going on in northern KY. About a month ago we dropped below $ 2 - but now it is back up around $ 2.39. If we drive over to OH or Indiana it is just below $ 2.

Kind makes you want to stock up doesn't it? However....the new fuel doesn't store very long, and unless the fuel prices go up in the next few months it won't help. However - it probably is time for me to go stock up on the diesel fuel I use in my tractor...I have a 55 gallon drum I fill from the "Off Road" pump at a local gas station.

It's between $1.74 and $1.79 here. Been inching back up slowly for the last couple weeks ever since I started hearing crap on the radio about prices bottoming out and max production levels being reached.

Sounds like someone is putting out propoganda to the mass media to try to prop up the prices. The Saudi king who started all this died a couple weeks ago. There is some speculation about what his successor is going to do.

It's about time prices went back down. The Russians have, with very solid science, disproved peak oil and diminishing supplies. There's no reason we should be paying such high prices for toxic waste.
