Help with brackets
01/24/15 at 14:39:23

I bought an '07 S40 this past fall and love it. It came with Saddlebags but no brackets. The dealer told me they aren't made anymore, so I have been looking. I found a pair on e-bay, and I want to install them, but I don't think I can the way everyone else has. At what appears to be the rear attachment (where the turn signal is attached), there is only a pin, no nut to remove so I can bolt it on! I have looked at other topics trying to find help, but only see where an ex member made a pair that look almost exactly like the ones I have.
Do I need to drill a new hole for them? Help!
Thanks

No, you don't need a new hole, the bracket doesn't bolt up bac there, there;s a hidden bolt you can't see from the outside of the trim fender
I'd post a pic for you but it's dark here right now

Can you post a link?
