Carb flooding through breathers..

The Suzuki Savage went through a garage fire.... The carb was leaking fuel through the breather tubes before and i dont want to spend money to have a deal fix it when i can just fix it. i know my way around the carb but i wanted to get your oppinions on the problem. I'm guessing its just a simple float/valve problem. what do you think?

Float valve/seat. That would be the place to start looking.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut between the seat and the handlebars. Make sure yours isn't too tight or too loose.

Okay, it's been in a fire... It's got a problem.. we really need some details. You can see it,we can't. How damaged by heat is the bike?
The float MAY have gotten hot enough to rupture,

Was it leaking before the fire?
Don't be afraid that you'll bore us with details. Year, miles, mods, your mechanical skills, we need to know as much as possible.

Yeah it was leaking before the fire. but i took her apart and found that half the float was filled with gasoline so the float wasnt floating. ordered a new one today. so relieved! the fire didnt hurt anything but the seats, all of the electronics still work. still got soot but nothing chrome polish wont fix.
