The base of the hinge mounts right where the stock seat tab mounted.

Looks like you used some strap or pipe to replace the shocks? Where did you put the voltage regulator?

I spotted the same, what did you use to make it a hardtail, is it a hollow pipe? or a metal rod.

I have never actually been on a hardtail, how is the ride with just the seat springs?

Actually on the orange one there are no turn signals.I run dual taillights.I like being seen.Plus in Ohio if you run a side mount light,you have to run one on each side so traffic can see you from different angles.The fender IS a trailer fender from Northern Tool(# 1263 I think). About 30 bucks.You can pick them up at Tractor Supply Co. too.Depends how big you are.Obviously not as good as shocks.If you're normal size,it's not too bad.I run a solid mount seat now.I bottomed the seat springs out bad once and it jammed my spine.It's actually better(for me)solid mounted.The seat is bent to my butt,so it's actually kinda comfy,lol.I usually run a little less air pressure in the rear tire.It has a little more sidewall being a 150 too.

I like that style and tried making one with a trailer fender and it turned out ok, but I never ended up using it. How did you make the fender that is on the orange bike.
