Give directly to any charity you choose...
Telemarketers are taking up to 90% of everything you give... maybe more...

Give any amount to to these children and their families, and I thank you...

We, as a group,... are large enough to make a difference in some child's care...

Speaking of vets,  I have a dollar Tree close to my home. Every year each cashier asks for a dollar donation to help buy Xmas gifts and school supplies for the children of vets. And then they give out a big Yahoo when someone donates making everyone else feel like they should donate also. It is misleading and dishonest. What they do is throw in a pack of pencils or a cheap toy that they pay a few cents for when they buy in wholesale. Misleading because they actually only donate the pack of pencils they pay 6 cents for. The rest of the dollar, 94 cents, goes back into store profit. I asked the store o stop doing this and they asked me to leave and not come back. I called their corporate headquarters and have emailed them several times to verify it and they will not answer my reply. I like to give to those in need but it seems many of these solicitors are in it for the wrong reasons.  St. Jude's is the only donation that I give each year now.
