Needing a little advice. What's the easiest way to pull out the air box? Do I have to disconnect the battery? Thanks for any ideas. I don't have a manual.

Yes, the airbox has to slide forward to come out.....keep taking stuff off until it does comes out.

The easy way is to leave it there.
your side panels are attached to it.
your electronic are attached to it.
your wiring is guided by it.
and it makes a great sh!tbox... don't take that literally.   Huh

Yes, you have to pull the bat and the bat box to pull the air box.

AAaaand the engineers who designed the bike knew a bit about airflow thru an engine and before ya go there, spend some time reading about intake and air flow theory.. You might change your mind.. I did,, In fact, I modified the guts of my box to make the volume between filter and carb larger..

I hit a snag trying to remove my air box. One of the four bolts holding in the battery box just spins when I crank on it. Is there a nut on the bottom?
