car battery in a 4 wheeler?
11/19/14 at 07:25:47

This is for my 4 wheeler and not my s40, so I am posting in the cafe for the advice of those that so choose to help a brother out.
Wink

I have  a 1994 polaris 300 4 wheeler I am rehabbing and before I buy a new battery I want to just test things out. Can I use a spare 12v car battery (fully charged, but not hooked to a car or charger...just the battery) while in maintenance to test the electrical system, turn over the electric starter/engine, etc. or am I risking frying something?

Thanks!
