I've been wondering what the motivated reasoning is behind so many conspiracy posts here..

Why, clearly it is an attempt to hide the real conspiracy by bringing up the straw men of conspiracies. Undecided Undecided Undecided Undecided Undecided

Actually... I think that is a legit question.

Partially I "blame"/point to the current functioning of Washington. I am as convinced as ever that lobbyists publish and or otherwise use their skills to feed what-ever current agenda they need vaulted.

I am quite sure I can't find. nor even recall, but there was vid about a man back in the 1960's, that used his skills in human psychology and applied that to advertising. Those same style tactics are now being used on the entire populace to push agendas (on both sides).

Take for instance my post about Net Neutrality. Currently it is just completely backwards ... by having the president come out for it, Republican can go against it. Who wins?? not Democrats... not republicans... yet both see it as some party issue.... will we ever know how we got here? of course. Who will win? EASY... who ever has the deepest pockets/ most lobbyist influence. I win that argument no matter what happens.    Conspiracy...

Today, everyone is talking about 'Ferguson'.

What about 64-65 in N.Y. ?
What about, Watts. ?

The biggest Laughing point is,
when 'your', "Professional Team"   Wins.
A group,  'riots and loots'.

JOG is commonly referred to as a, 'Conspiracy' believer.
I think, he does his research.

What about, JFK Jr. ?,  What about, Foster?, What about, Mahoney ?,
and the list goes on.

What about OK,  McVeigh was alone ??????

What about JFK ?  Ever been to the, 'depository' window ?
They will,  NOT,  let you look through it.
Because, from it, you can, NOT,  see,
where JFK was shot, at the place he was shot.

Yes, their are many, 'Just happenings'.
But their are so many more, that are, planed' and 'covered up'.

Conspiracy, and cover ups, are NOT  new !
They go a  LONG  way back !

"Et to Brute"
And Back further that that !

Gee, how about, 'Pope RUTH'.

Point is, will you, 'allow', it to continue to happen ?
Or do something about it?

Yep, can hear it now:
"We Can't do anything about it".

Isn't that what was said, by a man who was born in Austria,
who then came to political power in Germany, in the mid 30's ?
Then, I 'think' a group of people, actually,  DID  something about that !

So today, when a, 'town' consul, decides to alter a road,
and say to the townspeople;  "Their is Nothing You Can Do About it".
Do you, order more Pizza and turn on the TV Re-Runs.

Or, do you,  DO,  something about it?

MnSpring, I've stood on the X's painted on the road showing where he was hit and looked back up directly at the six floor window. so if I can see window from the street, you can see the street from the window....In fact, the thing that struck me the most is how small the area is. On the films, the grassy knoll looks to be a long way of, but when you're really there  it's surprisingly close. The overpass you see the limo racing under is also surprisingly close.
Conspiracy's survive in part for the very reason you say, people don't speak up and force those spreading bull$hit to answer obvious inconsistencies in their theorys.

Hi Mark.
 You are absolutely right.
The, "X's" on the road, mark, 'a', spot/s.

Long time ago, had a real good Dog,
worth saving because he was very competitive in FT's.
One Vet, was pushing to more and more tests,
to, 'determine', what they could do next.
Frustrated because was not finding absolute answers.
Went to another Vet,
(with all the results of the tests done by the other Vet).
That Vet did some tests, Then Said:
"It it walks like a Duck.
If it sounds like a Duck.
If it looks like a Duck.
It is, most probably, a  DUCK" !

Now, I certainly believe some things, 'just happen'.
But when it, 'looks' like a Duck, (etc)
I call it a,  DUCK.

I have no idea what you mean.... You said 'they' (whoever they are) wouldn't let anyone look out the 6th floor window because it would give away the fact you couldn't see where JFK was hit, but that's not true and now I get the duck analogy?.....
