With that much engineering, errr, ummm, rigging, you'd think he could have found a better way to control it than string!

I've seen old footage of this being done in my country in the late 'forties or early 'fifties. It was a race between two "chariots", it was done on a horse racing course or a sports ground. Not a public highway.

That can't possibly be legal either. I wonder if the cop would just scratch his head wondering what to give him a ticket for!

Tremendously Intelligent.

Just wonder if, all that, 'skill', if put to a different task,
would amount to a, 'better', thing ?

I think there's a law against riding in trailers.
maybe he'll get 2 tickets as he can't keep a hand on the handlebar.

I've been looking around a bit trying to find out more about this.  I have found another video where he is in a gravel parking lot, and another where he is driving really slow on his way to Sturgis.

The brakes appear to be on the chariot wheels.

There appears to be a cable from the lower left side of the chariot that runs up along the left side of the bike.....I would guess that is the throttle.

Clutch is probably a Rekluse.
http://www.rekluse.com/exp_hd.shtml

The bike is held upright by the chariot, as you can see the bike leaning a bit in the gravel parking lot as he drives/rides toward the camera.
