So I used to be able to pull my choke out, it'd click in place, then you could pull it out a bit farther and it'd click in place, then you could pull it out all the way. It just stopped staying in place some time this week. It's either full out or it just slides all the way back in. Any ideas on what happened/I did? Thanks.

Stuff that has a spot where it stop[s has some kinda detent setup.. a groove in the shaft and a spring with a BB in a drilled hole aimed into it, or something as simple as a hard piece of strap with a bump bent into it,, but that thing otta be POsitively In {PLace,, If it changed right after you did something,, You mite wanna revisit that..Otherwise, I never went there, so, I dunno how hard it is to get TO the detent on it, But, Id look at it, on the bike and see what I could figure out, if its gonna be an easy fix,, do it there, If not, Id get it on the bench,, Too much little stuff to be trying to work on it on the bike,,

Time for some McGyver stuff,,
