Clutch "sticky" between 4th and 5th gear... (Read 38 times)

bobthekerr Junior Member Offline SuzukiSavage.com Rocks! Posts: 73	Clutch "sticky" between 4th and 5th gear... 10/17/14 at 12:48:30 Noticed sometimes its very sticky from 4th to 5th. Other times its very smooth. It seems to usually be a smooth transition when I am above 60mph. Am I just short-shifting sometimes, or does this sound more like a clutch issue?

Reply #1 - 10/17/14 at 14:22:44 Mine's always done the same. Sometimes has a little catch where it doesn't go into 5th (I think they call it a 'false gear'?). I think its inherent on these bikes and I'm sure the veterans will chime in and give you some additional thoughts.
