Clutch wont disengage
10/05/14 at 13:39:27

I am putting my bike back together and have run into an issue.  When I went to attach the clutch cable to the lever it would not reach.  I could not get the clutch arm to move up.  I took the engine cover off and tried to push in the clutch rod in manually but it wont budge.  Same clutch cable, bike was running when I took it apart.  I have not replaced any clutch parts, etc.  everything is the same except the clutch rod wont push in.

Any ideas.  Undecided

thanks

How did you try to pull up the lever?
unless your name arnold s. don't think you can do it by hand.
put a monkey wrench on the pivoting end and push down.

and equally hard to push the pin in.

Crescent wrench works well.Pay attention to the gizmo the cable hooks into.
