A 250 thump.......

I don't get it.
Why would someone go through all the trouble of building a 250 thumper chopper?  Huh

All I see is a ride that is sure to screw your back up at very few CC's

Because they can.

I don't like most builds but I respect the thought and creativity that goes into them.

Chopperizing any bike turns it from transportation, to a toy...
I think 250cc is more appropriate for a toy than a bigger displacement...

I wouldn't want to ride one for more than 20 miles anyway... Grin...

Id like to see WD's reply to that. Personally, Im more in agreement with ya. Kinda like lowering a pickup and putting fancy wheels on it and a high dollar paint job,, Really? It just became useless as a pick-up.. I guess a guy could stil toss some limbs in it, haul some trash,, but only after tying and gagging the owner.. cuz he'd be havin a FIT!

WHY,  do you drive  a  Motorcycle ?

It is Much easier in a  Car !

In 09, when I, 'finally', bought one for ,myself,
(instead of driving someones  Else's)

A  Female friend said:
"What, a  Mid Life Crises".
I said: "If it was a 'mid life crises' , I would be driving, from bar to bar, with a leather vest 3 sizes so small, and wonder why, 20 year old chicks, are not jumping my bones, with  a  CUSTOM Built  $30,000.00 MC".
No  I bought one, because it got 70 MPG, I Like it, "and I don't give a sh@@  what you think"

So the 225's, thinking of the 250's. Came across the 650, Savage.
It is enough. Not 1,500 cc's.   Don''t ride to  Surges every year.
Just don't need the them.

Just like the, 'three bears'.
Not to small, not to,big, just right.

Thanks, for the knowledge on this site,
about that, particular  ICE.

But if someone wants to spend 3,000,00
on a 2,000.00 cycle.  Have at it  !!!!!!!!

Well, it probably gets around 65 to 70 mpg... albeit at max 60mph, and that's shaking the bike to pieces....
If all you do is ride to work and back and around town, I don't see why 250cc's is all that bad.
Have to wear a backpack on it anyway (like most sport bikes)...might as well make it fun.
