Color match paint

What companies do you use for color match paint touch-ups? My fork bag rubbed a spot bare on my front fender. My thumper is a black 2006.

Glue a piece of black leather over it. Raise your bag a little. Or shoot some clear on it so it doesn't trust.
ORRR, leave it alone and let the bag keep it clean.

Anybody that has DuPont, usually has a machine that can take a picture of the color and formulate it.
Some of the bike companies are releasing the code number for the paint.See if you have an automotive paint store close to you and give them a try.Oh...It's usually not a solid black on our bikes. There's usually a metallic in them of different colors on different years. My '86 had gold in it,my '87 had blue in it.

Thanks guys, I already repositioned my bag higher. I think I'll take the tool box cover with me for a color match. I don't think a picture would get close enough.

No.Sorry maybe I wasn't clear.It's a machine they put on a painted surface,it records it and formulates a match.

Doesn't hurt the paint. But yes take a part with you.

I decided to go with ColorRite TU4970 and some clearcoat. I'll post some pictures of how it comes out when I get a free saturday to paint.

Color- rite matches perfectly. Get the spray can and the trick is to use their clear coat only.
