Carburetor, Mods.

Have this Carb (Mikuni, ‘24C4-H7Y2’)   From the 97  LS-650.
Thinking of modifying it, and putting it on the, 06 S40.

Thinking of, ’swirling’ the ‘atomized’ gas,
by, ’swirling’ the air, before it goes into the carb.

This has been done on many cars/trucks, which use a carb.
Some worked, some did not.
It’s   NOT  a  100 MPG  fix/change.
But it ‘may’ result in a 5-20 MPG increase?

Anyone done that, experimented with that, have any experience with that?

Reason:
1. I am, ‘frugal’. ( A  225 CC, I had, got 70-75 MPG)
   Wouldn’t it be nice to have a 650 cc, getting over 50 MPG?
2. I am, frugal, !
3.  I am , Frugal’,  (OK  OK,  cheep) !  
4. Something to, ‘play’, with’.

Remembering, .27  CENT a  GALLON  Gas, and 18-20 MPG,
(If you drove it nice), was  COMMON !
(In a  350 large block and a 4,000 pound car)_

Now 3.50 a gallon, and 30 MPG is   WONDERFUL    LOLOLOLOLOOO
(In a little,  4 cyl, 'eco', boost engine, and a 2,000 pound car.)

Perhaps, a, ’steam’,  or ‘water vapor’ injection. ????
(Like  MANY  people did in the 70’s, and were  SUCCESSFUL)

So, just a thought.  Anyone experimented with this?

I adjusted my carb too be a little more rich than the stock. I get around 53mpg running about 60-70mph down the highway
