That back tire and fender bouncing up and down always looks weird to me when I follow a bike that has a suspension like that.

Like Schwinn, Norton, etc., the only thing original of the new Matchless is the name. The name is now owned by Franco Malenotti. There will be 'limited production' motorcycles, but the big money will be the "extensive apparel and accessories line to accompany the motorcycles"

The purpose of the stretched rear wheel is to lighten the tire so they can plant the front wheel and spin the rear in circles to burn rubber.
