There are some pics on this site where someone had JB'd it and it worked. not saying it's the best solution. But, that stuff is strong.
I hate to see anyone having problems like that. It makes you want to ride that much more knowing that you can't.
I mentioned the JB cause I had seen it on here and cause I watched my brother patch a 2x3 inch hole in the crankcase of a 2-stroke with it. Everybody told him it'll never work with all the pressure and vacuum alternating in there. He rode the bike for 5 or 6 years and sold it to someone else. Last we heard, it had held up for 15 years.
I don't know that I have that much trust it that stuff either.
I wish you the best of luck with your problem. Hope you get it sorted soon and without too much of a cost.

Mine's JB welded back together and has been going for years like that. It was done by a PO, I spotted it when I was fixing an oil leak, looked good and I put it back together. No problem and better than trashing an otherwise good bike. IMO. OK it's not the best engineering solution but since it works, I could care less.
