Haha.  I'm kiddin.  I have a 1.5 year old and I'd give up anything or do anything for him.  We also just found out we are going to be having another one.  I couldn't be more happy.  BUT this has placed my work on my 86 Savage on hold.  Although I'm not real excited about it, it does give me time to make sure I do everything the way I want it since it will be in planning for a total of about 3 years.  Gotta buy more baby stuff and get a room ready(or so my wife tells me )

I'm constantly torn between how to make my bike my own.  I'd like to bob it, or at least put on a new fender that's not as bulky and get rid of the passenger seat.  This 4 speed isn't the best open interstate bike out there and even if it was, i'll still mainly use it for weekend fun and riding to town and back.

I look forward to continue browsing these forums, getting ideas and hopefully contributing some as well.

I found a guy that works at a body shop near my work.  I was talking to him about potentially painting my bike(mostly just making conversation, since I know he has painted a few).   This guy gets so excited after I tell him I have an 86 Savage.  He told me that if I took the parts off that I wanted painted, He'd charge me $50 plus the paint cost, just because he said he'd love to make me something special.  

It's amazing, when you go talking to people, just how many people have a love for this bike.

Years from now,.. Ralph's kid is going to be exploring his fathers past and will come across this thread...
It will be then, that Ralph gets him his first motorcycle...
