Genie's new tires

Well Genie's new Dunlop's are very nice.
I noticed right off the bat, I sat up a little
higher. That is ok with me as I am short
to begin with.
Ride home was a little nerve wrecking as it
had just started to drizzle when I picked her
up.
So sloooww and steady we went. Made a stop
along the way home and drizzle had stopped and
roads were pretty much dry.
I still made sure I kept it under 60 and took turns
slower.
Arrived home safe and secure.
OH and the valve stem is very nice. Thanks Bot for
the reminder on that one.  :-

This a.m. I took some Dawn and scrub brush and scrubbed,
rinse and repeated several times along the side as
well as the center of both tires.
Thanks Versy for that reminder as well. Kiss

I also noticed differences already in the way she
handled some of the differences in the roadway
that even when the IRC's had full thread would
do a little wobble.
Is raining for a bit this a.m. or else would be out
adding miles to the new tires.
Maybe later.. Ta ta for now.. Hugs, Smiley Kim & Genie

I had the exact same thing happen to me when I rode away with a new Dunlop d404 on.
I'm about to try the Shinko 712 this time and I hope it turns out as well as the Dunlop did for the first 5k. Dunlop definitely felt better than the IRC and is a good tire overall.
I did notice how it makes the bike feel taller too lol. I think it gives more confidence because you can literally feel the new tread.
