Is not a Savage.Been working on and off for awhile on this one.'96 Vulcan 800 Classic.Needed a more comfy(for her  Tongue) 2 up ride.

This is how I got it.And a whole bunch of parts. Was a bagger formerly Tongue That was totalled.

Looks nice Demin, was it mainly the front end that was totaled?

That is a beautiful motorcycle! Well done!

Always thought the VN800 looked way better than the newer VN900s ...

Spray it black, bring it down here, haul both Savages off. If that 800B was to receive an 800A front end conversion, it would be a 1000x better machine. "B"s ride nice but don't handle well, "A"s ride nice and can outcorner a Savage at much higher speeds.

My 98 needs a CCT and about 8 more wires hooked up. My 03 has a Versy modded CCT, runs fine, just needs the valves adjusted. So you'd end up with a runner for her and an almost finished custom to play with. And I woud be back on my preferred metric platform, with the option of going for an "A" or Drifter conversion depending on how motivated I was.

Your ability to envision a paint job and execute it is quite the talent. Were you tempted to put a silver front on the front fender?
