To the people, NOT, in the USA.
‘Power” dress =
Red ties, Yellow ties, Suspenders (Braces) matching.
Black suit, white shirt. They are, ‘Power’ dress.
They are the, ‘up and coming’, people,
or the people to impress the, ‘locals’.
Ya know when that level is, ‘many level above’,
when people are in, blue jeans, white shirt, no tie, open collar, and a suit coat.
Many years ago, a local banker, Female, (Small town),
(Owner of the bank), ‘had several land lots’ which were,
’Tax forfeited by the County’.
(Which the bank had lost money on by mortgaging )
The city bought them for 1.00 each. (From the County)
The, ‘little’ City, wanted 15,000.00 per lot.
She said: “I’ll give you 9,000.00 a lot,
Right now, will write you a Bank check, Right Now”.
( I was their as her, ‘selling agent’, didn’t say a word, BUT,
also had a, POWER Suit on”. )
The, City said, “Um, Well, Un, maybe, Um, let’s see, Um …”
She said. (In her, ‘Power Suit” of Pants, Suit Coat,
Dark Blue , small Pinstripes, RED Tie, RED Suspenders,
White Shirt, and, SHINEY Black shoes and RED Socks)
“OK, then You Sell Them”
We didn’t get but 5 steps, towards the door, and the, ‘City’ said:
“OK, we will take the check.”
We sold 12 lots, at Auction for avenge of 14,000.00 a lot.
It was because of the, ‘Power” suits. !!!!!!!!!!
So for the people in, Italy, “Red & Yellow”,
In the US, equate to, ‘Power Suits’, not to a bunch,
of drunk people watching a boring game where people,
kick a little ball back and forth.
