We're #1!! I was a little surprised about the crash record of the Rebel. Considering its popularity with new riders, I thought it would be one that crashed a little more. It could be they're low speed and don't get reported that much.

You are probably right. Not too many reported crashes - but lots of drops and tip overs that don't get reported.

Tell me. Basic liability, no comp/collision, all cover stuff I hit. Which is going to hit harder, a 380 pound 85 mph Savage or a 245 pound 65 mph Vespa? According to Progressive, the Vespa -- my insurance went up.

You can leave the keys in your bike and it will still be there when you come back outside.

My insurance went way up. In WA, full coverage on a modified 98 LS650 was $86 for the year. Here in TN, a mostly stock 2003 LS650 runs $164 for the exact same coverage.

Insured as a "recreational" motorcycle... I "recreate" a lot, hit 5000 miles in 3 months... Grin

On an S40, the cops can finish their coffee and doughnuts before they even begin the chase.
