jman Junior Member Offline Posts: 60 Central Wisconsin Gender:	Riser-mounted tachometer? 07/14/14 at 16:17:39 I saw a really cool riser-mounted tachometer on a Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 Classic yesterday, and was wondering if anyone knows if I could adapt one to my wife's 95 Savage. Reply #1 - 07/14/14 at 19:32:19 My only complaint with aftermarket gauges is that the bike won't turn 8000 rpms or go 160 mph. Most gauges seem to be calibrated for these maximums. You can get custom gauges at speed hut.com that are tailored to your speed and rpms.

The gauge looks very similar to the cheapies sold by JP Cycles and various others, I have one without the lovely holder and have no complaints.

Because our bikes are double fire you don't need an adapter. What that means is that our spark fires twice per four strokes and the tach thinks it's a twin cylinder engine and gives an accurate reading. http://www.baronscustom.com/catalog/display/252/

TTO Tach-Hour Meter http://www.trailtech.net/digital-gauges/tto/72-a00 Small, Stick on, or screw on, internal 5 year battery. One wire wrap around spark plug wire. I have had a couple, and they work well. Oh, and, even have one in, Orange !
