My problem is I have lazy arm positions and the "heels" of my hand (below my thumbs) hit the touch pad and does crazy stuff, moves mouse, cuts and pastes.....ect....
Also with my newest laptop if I hold down my shift key on the left side of it, it says "pause" and there are arrow keys right below it.... I will some times be writing and it will "select all" and delete before I can stop it because my fingers are typing so fast my mind can't keep up with them.
HA! Something else to comment on!
Old rider I have to that trouble sometimes too, my laptop has a little dimple on the touch pad I can double click and turn the touch pad off. I usually try to do that when I am typing. I have a mouse I had rather use than the touch pad anyway. I too have had huge chunks of material just disappear, that is pretty disappointing, I can usually go to "undo" and get it back, though.
For some reason I end up with a "C" sometimes scattered in my stuff. I can't figure out if I hit it in connection with the space bar, or when I am trying for some other letter, really no rhyme or reason to it that I can figure out. Maybe a crumb or hunk of dust or something has fallen into the keyboard. IDK.
