I`m just learning how to maintain this bike.Thanks for your tip.I`m going to check everything I can find on here and replace a few parts anyway.

OK I just got some time to look into the stalling problem. . Put the bilke up and checked the sight glass. Seemed overfull. Smelled the oil . Gas. I pulled the plug on the tube coming down and out under the bike . Got about a 2" puddle of gas/oil. So I drained the tank. I plan on rereading all I can on here, then trying to remedy this.Ordered a Raptor petcock, plug and oil+air filters. I have 5-30 Mobil 1 . Is that Ok or should I use a motorcycle oil of a different weight? Anyone have any tips or comments? I will read the forum again of course. Thanks 2007 s40 5600mi.

No

I recommend Rotella T or T6 instead.

I`ll get that ..Are additives to oil recommended or is using a recommended one and regular changing OK. I`ve found answers to most of my questions reading the forum and tech section..I`ll tackle the bike as soon as I get all my parts. But people do have tips and opinions,so I welcome any.
