I tried it out on the way home from church tonight, starting with 4-5, then 3-4 and 2-3. I think I got the hang of it and it was seamless. I shifted at RPMs a little low once and the bike didn't seem to care for that, so definitely need to be sure you're at the top end of the power band for the gear you are in. Cool trick.
