Motorcycle rentals in Las Vegas...
06/20/14 at 11:41:53

Heading to Las Vegas in August and was thinking about renting a car or motorcycle there.
Anyone know the scoop? most places on the net are asking ridiculous prices $150-$200 a day....
Thought I would ask in case a few of you folks go there on occasion to make your annual salary.

old rider,
Before you rent a bike, you might want to consider that the average daily high in Vegas in August is 102.

Just a thought.

Not think Harley Davidson which is what others think of with "motorcycle.   Try Google "las vegas scooter rental":

A Vespa LX150 is $85/day.  A Bonneville is just $114 a day.  I checked with Geico and they cover me with a rented bike.

Vegas driving is a frigging nightmare! The highways are the most dangerous and unpredictable I've ever experienced. If you don't know exactly where you are going and how to get there I would highly suggest not riding a bike.

Best case scenario is renting a bike for some evening desert driving. Take a trip to the hover darn. It's a good ride and not too far out of the way with a decent variety of different  rides on the way. City, highway, Twisties.

Come back after dark and see the Strip form a distance!! Should be a nice ride win with some interesting sites.  Wink

So if I rent a car, how is parking?
Wife wants to see freemont st. and we will be staying at the circus circus, which is across the street from the Riviera where the tournament is being held.
I also have to go see counts customs and see if I can get an autograph or picture or something...or just take a photo of the building for my brother.
I don't want to see the pawn stars.... or the little white chapel, but maybe a few other kewl spots.

You won't be that far away, could ride out to area 51 and see if you see anything.

Hope not to late to reply.
Parking =$ 90% of the time anywhere for the most part.
I can't remember if you pay for it and tip.. or just tip the attendant.
i think it depends.
Anyway, you'll likely be paying as much or more for parking if you re going to see the sights.
