LH signal flashing faster than RH
06/18/14 at 12:02:50

No bulbs are out. It somestimes flashes at a normal rate, but speeds up when twisting the throttle. I also noticed that tugging or moving the wires a little bit either caused it to remain at the proper rate even when being revved, or to speed up.

I had wired the lights myself (BCB kit) and thought i insulated all the wires properly. could anyone point me in any particular direction?

I think you have a short somewhere in the system.  When my right rear signal had a short, it would blink faster than normal (when it would blink at all).

Mine does that, different bulb specs. Full sized 1157 in the right rear and front, left has full sized front and small rear bulb. Mechanical flasher unit can't compensate for the differing current draw front to rear and flashes erratically.

I rewired mine too, so I always figure it's my fault somehow when I get a problem like yours.
You say that you can make the flashing change happen when you wiggle the wires? Sounds like you're close.
I'd try to isolate where the wire wiggling causes the change and go over that area with a fine tooth comb and look for chafed insulation or bad splices.
Stock turn signals right? (not LED)

it's not the stock signal, though i don't believe it's LED. I will look into it soon as i need to replace some rear bearings etc. might as well remove to seat bracket and dive in. I think i might have lazied out on shrinking the insulation which might cause this. No other electronics/lighs are affected by this issue so i really do think it's isolated to the rear left signal.
