Please bare in mind these questions apply to the newer versions of the s40 (the one with the one-piece seat).

Could I safely install a GIVI top-box (like this one) with the OEM rear rack?

How about a solo seat rack? (example) Any recommendations for one? (maybe with a perfect fit for a s40? Embarrassed

)

One of my concerns for a solo rack in the s40 is the clearance with the bike's own stop rear signal (tail light) and the solo rack/ top box combo. Will this cause any issues?

There is enough room between the stock seat and the tail light.

I mounted this to a board attached to the rectumfryer mount.
the rectifier is under the seat.
and had a cateye attached to the stock license plate mount.
