quality control.

There has been many questions about Suzuki quality control. What size tires you can run...etc.
Here is a pic of how bad Suzuki's quality control is.I've been running 150/90-15 tires.I usually use IRC Wyld flares. My orange bike I had Maxxis classics on it.They have always fit without a problem. Not even iffy.
This is the same tire on my other purple one I built awhile back.Rubs bad at over 65mph.Over a 1/4" difference in the swingarm brace.Just measured another one I have. But it's bent in the back so I can't use it.Thank goodness I have a 140 spare.

I know it's been talked about when pulling the engine that some will come out and some the head has to come off first.I'm sure there is a little difference in tire specs too.But this is the same brand, style and size I've ran before.
I will eventually pull the swingarm, cut the brace, move it and reweld it.But for now my 140 spare is going on.

I figured since the Grape Ape was down due to the starter problem,I might as well fix the swingarm problem too.

Damage to the brand new tire.Happened at high speed.

Took out about 5/8" of material then rewelded the piece back in.Should have more than enough room now.

Plenty of room now to fit that 150/90-15 in there, without rubbing.
