I know I struggled in math because there was no basis taught. W/O knowing how a problem is solved logically, how it is approached & puzzled thru & how the solution is derived, I never know which solution in the bag of solutions I am given, to drag out & apply. Algebra killed me, well,, I made a B, but I had an A in trig. But trig is mechanical. I can visualize a triangle & move it around in my mind & "see" things change. Algebra is a foreign language. Ever notice that people who are naturals at Algebra cant spell for crap? When ya meet someone who does both well, youve met a really smart sumbitch,,Ive met a few, but the average math whiz cant spell for crap & the average spelling Bee whiz cant do algebra to save his life,

Maybe after I get enough of this stuff Ill go look at algebra again,,mite as well, hell, maybe Ill be better now, after all Ive forgotten how to spell Smile..
