This surprised me. I'd have bet anyone a beer that Harley would have been #1 on the list of most stolen. Not sure why I thought that, but I always have.

News reports are useless.  There are more Hondas on the streets, hence more Hondas are stolen.  Followed by the other three big Japs and Harley-Davidson, in the order of how many are on the road.

What matters is the rate of stolen bike / registered bikes.  Progressive Insurance tracks the rate.  The Savage is the #1 least stolen motorcycle.

Were I making a list of the THINGS I love, my Savage would be at the top. So maybe it's a risk/reward thing, crooks know we'd hunt them forever.  Smiley
