Here's how it looks now. I'm going back top my original style for the bike....Drag bars,solo seat..etc.

Either way, if you miss having a Savage, seems like a good thing. For the record, I really dug the '86 you had.That was the reddish one with the dished tank and upswept pipe, right?

This one also has an'05 engine in it.I know every nut and bolt on this bike too.

Happy dance..........I'm back to being a Savage owner. Cheesy

I think I'm spoiled though.This bike doesn't seem to have near the power the orange one had going down the highway.Maybe because of the 5 speed?Engine is an '02.Jetted the same as the '86.It actually has all the '87 parts on it.Carb,charging system,etc.

Time to start modifying it to me. Cool

Want another stock carb? My stock one is in parts in a baggie in my little shop, but I ain't ever gonna use it, so it's yours for the price of shipping if you want. I think it's all in there but I can't guarantee it, but you'll be able to get it rolling with what you've got plus my parts. The idle mix screw is fine.

If you wanna get a totally different carb, well then nevermind and carry on soldier.
