Mine belched on me often.. I got way tired of it,, I did 3 things that seriously decreased that.


First, stand the bike up when filling it, only go to the bottom of that tube.
Letter B.
Put the cap on & slosh it a bit,,May do absolutely NOTHING,, but I did it,, phht,, who knows, right?


& I took the cap apart & cut a thin , hard piece of plastic & shimmed the rubber tighter..

Ohh, Letter D

I stuffed a paper towel in the tank & taped it in place from "underneath" & put sandpaper on a block & sanded a flat spot on the filler hole,, not a wide one, but I did see that the top wasnt exactly flat,,If I had it to do over Id take glass & lay it on the filler neck & see if its flat,,

Do you fill it to the bottom of the neck leaning on the kickstand or upright?  

Stand the bike up & look at the "Dont overfill me" tube after youve filled up..I covered this several posts ago.,.

Hey,, I CAN type louder if youre not clear on it yet,,

I dont even remember how many times I filled up & got gas burped on my leg before I could even get outta the parking lot,,
