OK, just scored at a local MC bone yard, (left side cover, and bracket will have to paint to match). But the Fender struts Which bolt up perfectly, and they are the ones which have the little backrest coming out the top. (Which I am going to McGiver for a, 'shelf', for a "Amber Fluid carrier"). Question, the brackets from a off a (98, LS 650, I think it was). Which fit perfectly. (as to the bolt holes) Are thinner than the OEM ones on the 06.
So: What is your opinion. Do I put spacers between the fender, and the bracket. Or, correct length bolts, which just may, 'flair' out the fender, 1/8-1/4" of a inch. ???? Or, get shorter bolts, which will, 'squeeze', in the fender a bit?
At this point I am thinking, to just cut some tubing, (SS or Alum), the distance I need, between the fender and the bracket. What do you think? Thanks for your time and consideration.
(Oh, if you need parts for a LS60 (98 I think). See the post in Marketplace, ('Scored").

Ben Franklin once said: "If you give up a freedom, for the sake of security, you will have neither". Which is More TRUE, today, than yesterday.('06, S-40, Stock) well, mostly .
