I have a 96 savage and I find it hard to find a lot of parts for it (e.g jet kits, forward controls, engine parts) hoping you guys could point me in the right direction

Not sure why you would have trouble finding jets.....the carb has not been changed.  The original jets might have been a different size - but a #50 pilot and a #150 main is a good place to start.  The needle needs to have the white spacer removed and 3 flat washers of the #4 size should be used in place of the white spacer.  Lancer can supply you a jet kit.

OEM parts are readily available from the dealer, on eBay, or online suppliers.
