Spark plugs.. Standard or Hotter range?

What plug do you use? Right now I am using NGK DP8EA-9. Been looking at the NGK DP7EA-9 which is a hotter plug as I mainly do a lot of lower speed riding. My plug has some black soot stuff on it using the standard plug. Has anyone ever tried the hotter range plug? If so do you or did you like it, hate it, etc.? Also does resistor plugs matter much? Reply #1 - 05/28/14 at 22:05:07 I don't know about the Savage but the only experience I have had with hotter plugs was with a old car that burnt oil, and the hotter plug helped to run better. Other wise stick to the plug that recommended.
