gotta go leaner (permanent 4k' elevation change)
would like to order the smaller main jet before disabling bike..
it's my main ride  Grin

I was able to adjust the idle mix, might add one or two #4 washers on slide, no spacer or washers on slide now (rich I know)

My 2005 was in stock condition and it had a 145 main jet.  The pilot jet was 52.5.

The table shows smaller jet sizes for 1997 to 2004 "CA MODELS".  What is a CA Model?  Canadian or California?  If it is for California models, it is incorrect because my 2003 California model had a #145 main jet (not #125) when it was stock. Undecided

File your complaint with Suzuki....that table is from their service manual.

I believe it maybe CAnadian as my '96 had a 145 too.
As Canada is metric, it maybe the same size jet, only in metric notation.

That's Commiefornia, and wrong. My 1998 49 state legal was 145 main over a 47.5 pilot jet.

I'll have to open up the 03 carb soon, have a bad midrange surge going now... Might have to mess with the white spacer, which means throw that carb in the trash and fit a good one.

opened her up, 2008 still uses the 145 main, thinking of getting 140 or maybe 142.5

noticed with shipping being the same, might get both

I hadn't seen to many folks going with that small?  What does yours generally run a bit rich?

145 main should be adequate at 4000 feet or higher elevation. You may get a bit of smoking at around 8000 feet or so.
