Oil Drain Plug Stuck (Read 73 times)

Beagle Full Member Offline 1998 Suzuki Savage Posts: 217 Ohio Gender:	Oil Drain Plug Stuck 05/26/14 at 13:20:23 I can't for anything get the oil drain plug off! It's SUPER tight! Any ideas on how to get this bad boy off?

A bunch of smaller taps is better than one whopper SMACKIN,, Ya dont wanna strip the head of that plug. go slow,,

Yes BE SURE you are using a six point, not a crescent wrench!! It took me several good taps with a hammer on the end of the wrench to break mine loose. Yes, take it slow, you don't want to break or strip anything.
