It's got a great shape and look!
Are you going to add some small fenders or just deal with the crap getting kicked up all over you and the bike?  Tongue

Wink

Check out this guy's build; it's pretty sweet.

Did the seat come with the hinge that attaches to the gas tank mount? Or did you fab that yourself? That hinge is exactly what I need. Smiley  Very nice work.

You can repair pinholes with solder as long as you get the metal clean and free of rust.  I take the tanks and have them chemically stripped and it removes all the paint and rust.

Take small punch and place it in the pinhole and tap a bit until the pinhole has a slight inward taper.  Then apply acid flux, and a nice small flame or large soldering iron....solder the pinhole closed. It takes a little skill to solder up pinholes that are next to each other without melting the solder out of the nearby hole.

Then file off any excess solder and get it flush.....then coat the tank inside.  The solder will be a bit different color - but if you are going for that look....it might make it better!
