Interference Fit?
05/16/14 at 13:40:38

Well, I bought this "97 Savage for a song (300.00). Not running of course. Tore into it and found a broken cam chain tensioner and an engine way, way out of correct timing marks. Simple fix I thought, reading through some of the threads on this site.  400.00 worth of parts later, still not running, and no, or little compression.

Could this old school one lunger the an "interference fit" on the valves? Please someone say it aint so!

If you mean to say the valve is stuck (open/closed) I think you already know your answer.

If you are referring to an interference engine, where the valves open maybe struck by the piston if out of time... yes it is.
