Yea needs something up front.  Rear fender is off for now.  It won't work with the frame rails cut.

Man, your savage looks pretty darn close to  mine! defiantly before i changed the seat!  lol keep up the good work, it's looking great. if you want an idea for a back fender, mine's bolted to the inside of the shock mounts, and the  swingarm. Work's out perfect, and keeps the fender low against the tire

Man, I'm diggin the black and red look. No more chrome is nice too. Front end looks legit. You've given me some inspiration for what I will do when the cold weather comes.

I second the battery box idea. Just something aesthetic around where it is now would be good...IMO.
