Post a message in the marketplace.  Somebody might have a parts bottom end from an engine where the top end died.  Otherwise, suzuki would probably be your best bet.

Hey Steve, I notice you live in AJ, AZ. Go to Bob's Motorcycle salvage on Elwood in Phoenix. They have several Savage motors in various stages of dismantling. All have bottom ends that I saw, everyone scavanges the cam chain tensioners off them... Their prices are really good and they know their stuff. You can probably buy a whole bottom end cheap.

Good luck getting them on the phone... they are usually swamped and take care of people at the counter and in the yard first and let the phone ring. It's worth a trip down there, they have 7-8 motors that I know of.
