clutch shaft leak...back again?
04/16/14 at 08:24:11

my speedo hit 18,000 miles so I pulled the clutch cover to fix the clutch shaft leak & inspect the chain tensioner.. it (tensioner) was about to fall out so installed versy-thingy & new suzuki "o" ring on the clutch shaft.

it's leaking AGAIN.. anybody figure out a better way?
I was thinking of widening the groove in shaft to fit a second "o" ring

That might create more leakage than it stops...

I usually add just a tiny smear of RTV at potential leak points... (around wire exits, o-ring shafts, etc...)
Just a little,...

Make sure the groove is clean & the shaft is smooove,,&, do as the Rowboat said, grease the O-ring up some. &, Dont just take someones word for it,, LOOK at that O-ring,, is it too skinny? Is it too loose on the shaft?
