Thank you weather... ect...

Thank you new but worn in tires and video game generation reflexes for stopping me in the middle of a rainbow puddle when i was forced to ride back in the rain. Thank you to the two cages that gave me extra space off my rear fender at various points for the 9 miles trip. Thank you officer for getting that ass. But no F%^&ing thank you to the dumb ass who cut in front of me to cut through a gas station to a side road to turn left because your traffic lane(oncoming) wasn't leaving the city fast enough at rush hour. Even though i'm only doing 25 in a 30 that doesn't mean you can turn left in front of me with no signal close enough for me to take your plate off your car with my hand rather than memorize it. Didn't need to, behind the lovely cage behind me was a state trooper... oh boy is that gonna suck for you. Not only did his lights come on when you cut me off, so he saw that, you cut through a gas station to hit a side street, big no no in NY.. have fun.
Rain, bleh, ride smart people, as many of you know, some people just don't care.
Still standing, a bit shakier after today.

Had one like that today. What's the proper course of action when there's a cage maybe 3 feet behind me at 45-50 mph?

There's no problem that a full tank of gas and a sunny day can't fix!

I usually do a full body turn to give them a look...
They think I'm judging distance for something unpleasant,.. and they back off... fast...

I usually grab the shoulder, or if I'm in town, the sidewalk.
Had 2 very close calls on the way home last night. Head on, back to back idiots doing close to 90 in a 55, I was north bound, they were south bound. I hit the shoulder as close to the pavement edge as I could. I'm sure the TN stater sitting a couple miles back in the church parking lot got at least one of them... Shelby County TN on Friday or Saturday night is police central on my route home.

By the hay dealer, between Rosemark and Millington-Arlington Road... If you know 14, you are or at least were semi-local... I live right on the Tipton-Shelby line, halfway between "Atrocia" (Atoka) and Mason.
Can't miss it, old plantation about 2.5 miles off Hwy 14 via Beaver Creek and Dunlop Orphanage Roads. I'm off tomorrow if you are local, look for the dead cream and orange Savage under a big poplar tree...
