Wife and I both have a Bell 100 bicycle speedo.... just for the trip meter, at about 110 you need to fill up. Then reset, and off you go again... it has other functions but we never use them because when you reset, you reset everything (well I do never figured out how to reset just the trip meter).

Oh..and it does not light at night....

Just searched a Wally World link for that speedo.  Very basic.  Exactly what I need.  I might give it a shot.

There's no problem that a full tank of gas and a sunny day can't fix!

VS800 front end swap... 21" front wheel, disc brake, better caliper, wheel driven speedometer... bolts right on and go simple...

Swing by the house and measure for yourself.

Direct swap? Just bolt on and go?  Hmmm, another option.

It really is that simple. Same steering stem length, same bearing outer diameter... I'll be here most if not all day. Have to move a gate post, wire a trailer and hope to do a bit of work on the "bikelet".

I'll be in Nashville all day today.  My daughter is having a cheer/dance competition.  Thanks for the invitation though!

Glad Dave found it.I don't like hydraulic forks or disc brakes, so Lisa's (my wife) VS800 is "safe" from me parting it out.  Grin

My 03 runs a stone stock front end other than the micro dogbones, my 98, um, kind of. Stock tubes, triple trees, sliders and axle. Aftermarket sidemount headlight, Titan hoop and drum, CB/CL450 twin pivot brake plate. Road King handlebar, AEE dogbone risers, Vincent-Knucklehead-Panhead replica perches and levers, chopper throttle boss...

The differences between the two is like comparing Zen Buddhists to fanatical jihadists...  Grin
