false oil tank in the making

I started to fab a false oil tank to house all the electric.
I want to know what is the best place to put the hole for the wires,
I was thinking at the bottom slightly facing the rear.

I made it with a 4'' truck exhaust pipe and with the top of two firefighter air tanks, using this i have round cover.

I still need to fab a cover and grind the welds.I used stuff lying around.

I will reuse the cap, if someone want the middle portion, just let me know. the tube is bolt on. Marc
