Just wanted to give an update. I took the rotor out of the '86 motor and installed it in the '05 engine. Set the carb with stock jets, and using 2 small washers equal to 1/2 of the white spacer and I currently have the idle screw set 2 turns out from comepletly in. The bike runs great with good sound and good torque. Thanks for all your input.
