Does it work like that or do i get a problem with the compression? Or if i need to do any other mods to the filter? thanks for ur time

Your proposed change has nothing to do with compression or the compression release.

Changing the intake and filter may have a slight effect on performance and the jetting. I can't see what you have for a muffler - but generally open pipes and cone filters require a step up in jet sizes.

OK....I give up. What does that green metal thing with the black hose that is hanging on the door do? Engine preheater?
